Day-to-day responsibilities and what to expect
This position puts you at the helm of an innovative smart factory intralogistics system. You will lead the full journey from design concept to system go-live, covering all aspects of automation and process improvement.
Responsibilities include evaluating production, IT, and purchasing needs, transforming them into a seamless, zero-touch warehouse solution. Every day will challenge you to optimise material flows and production processes, integrating best-in-class robotics and warehouse technology.
In addition, you will select technology partners, oversee contracts, set and track KPIs, and ensure compliance with technical and legal regulations. Drafting detailed specifications, overseeing system testing, and ensuring successful system ramp-up all fall under your remit as department leader.
You are also expected to establish strong communication across production, quality assurance, and IT. Coordinating with architects and managing contracts are day-to-day tasks intrinsic to success in this leading role.
